ENVIRONMENT

At Vantage, we aim to bear the social responsibility of minimising our carbon footprint on the environment through our business activities.

Packing waste and pollution

As a company, we aim to reduce the environmental impact of our business whenever possible. By operating in an environmentally responsible manner, we will reduce the general, packaging waste and pollution generated by our commercial activities.

Reduce energy and water use

We reduce our energy and water use by constantly assessing and adopting best-practice conservation technology. For example, we ensure lights and heating are switched off when not required and maintain our buildings to minimise their impact on the local environment.

Recycling

We actively promote the recycling, reducing and reusing of materials generated by our business and our customers. This helps reduce our impact on the environment as well as that of our clients. For instance, our custom-made crates are produced in such a way that they are able to be easily dismantled and reassembled multiple times, thus salvaging potentially wasted material.

Fuel reduction

We train our drivers to utilise the most direct routes in transport in order to reduce fuel consumption. Furthermore, our vehicles are all of the latest version, ensuring that the mile to gallon ratio is kept as low as possible.

Safe disposal

Through compliance with all relevant business and commercial waste legislation, we ensure that all disposal of unusable waste we undertake is safe and carried out in a way that minimises any long-term environmental impact.
